I’ve always had a life-long love of history. Born in Philadelphia in 1949 of Italian parents, I moved with my family to San Francisco at the age of nine. In 1972 I graduated from the University of San Francisco with a degree in history. In 1999, as a businessman and entrepreneur, I began writing and publishing my own books beginning with the best-selling, bilingual Heritage Italian-American Style. This was followed up with Heritage Hispanic-American Style in 2003. Becoming involved in genealogical research began as a recurring daydream of my Italian and Spanish ancestors and grew into this fictional Renaissance adventure based on the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. I’ve been happily married to my wife Lanette since 1975, and we have to lovely, Lea Linda and Alexandra Marie. My wife Lanette and I have been blessed with two beautiful granddaughters, Ashlan Sorella and Stella Rose Oberlander. What more could anyone ask for.I am now finishing the second book of my two part novel, The Spear of Lepanto. My publishing company, Vincero Enterprises will be releasing books I and II together in 2010 as an e-book and hard copy edition
